Olga Kusanova

Technology Transfer Consultant, Technology Transfer Section, IP for Innovators Department (IPID), IP and Innovation Ecosystems Sector, WIPO, Geneva (Switzerland)

Ms. Kusanova is a technology transfer consultant with WIPO's IP for Innovators Department (IPID) where she endeavors to develop and promote IP tools, implement capacity building programs related to technology transfer and institutional IP policies. She also is involved in other projects revolving around support innovation, technology transfer and commercialization of IP.


Ms. Kusanova holds a Bachelor Degree in International Relations and a Master Degree in WTO and EAEU Law from St. Petersburg State University, as well as a LLM in International Economic Law and Policy from the University of Barcelona. Her fields of expertise include international trade and intellectual property, as well as the nexus between these two areas: transfer of technology. Prior to joining WIPO, Ms. Kusanova also worked in other international organizations, such as ITC, WTO and UNDP, including on issues related to IP and technology transfer.
